I'd been looking for rice bowls that are not too small or big. I currently have 4.5" bowls (~10 oz) and I'd like something slightly bigger for my teenage boys. The search was harder than I expected because dessert/fruit bowls are usually too small and cereal bowls are too big; and sometimes the right capacity didn't have the right shape for a rice bowl. I had considered Corelle bowls but they don't have the bottom rim so they are hot to hold with rice. I ended up on Amazon and found these bowls. They are perfect in size and shape: 5" round, 14oz, and in off-white color.All arrived in one piece, with the bottom of one bowl having a small chip. The quality is just ok, not great; they will do for my need.I liked these as a small snack bowl, but small imperfections keep me from giving more stars. Unfinished/not glazed on the bottom ring of the bowl.These bowls are perfect! I needed bowls that were a bit smaller than a cereal bowl but not tiny, and these are the perfect size. Plus, they are so pretty!I wanted to find new bowls to replace some Anchor Hocking dessert bowls I had. These had measurements close to what I wanted and I was initially pleased. However, what I don't like about them is that they don't nest well for storage and they conduct temperature too much. So far, we've used them for ice cream and find the bowl almost too cold to hold while eating the ice cream. I'm almost afraid to try them for a hot bowl of soup.One small chip on the bottom of one of the bowls.I was looking for white bowls for cereal that were the right size, not too big or small.
