Nothing to complain about.Good item. These gummies taste like candy, because that's really what they are. I've had a lot of different fruit snacks in my life and Welches tastes the most like a checkout aisle treat. The package makes the gummies look like they're healthy (and maybe you can justify getting your fruits and essential vitamins in that way - hey I'm with you, and I'm not judging! I buy them in bulk so I have no hang up about this.) But.. the first three ingredients are 1. fruit puree, which naturally contains a lot of fructose (fruit sugar), 2. corn sugar, and 3. sugar. The number 5 ingredient is grape juice which once again has fructose. I'm sure all of this sugar is why they taste so good (they artificially enhance the flavor too). If you read the package, it makes these seem like they're the next best thing to eating a piece of raw fruit: the package says that they are fat and cholesterol free, low in sodium and don't have added preservatives in addition to the vitamins in them. (The label doesn't point out that other than the vitamins they are pretty much empty calories). My thought is that they taste delicious and as long as you eat them in moderation there's definitely worse things that you could be eating. These are gluten free but not vegetarian: the gelatin is made from pork and beef (I try not to think about the gelatin being made from an animal- yuck).Speaking of gluten free, these are a perfect snack for me to share on the hiking trail with my friend who has gluten allergies. I haven't had them melt in my bag and they don't get squashed like trail bars can. There's about 12-13 gummies in a typical pouch so they're definitely a quick snack, not something that will fill you up.Be warned that you need to eat all of the pouches of gummies within a few months after getting them or they will go bad. Blech - they lose some of their sweetness and have a staleness to them. You can still eat hard ones without them making you ill, but they definitely don't taste the same. This listing is for a big box of 80 individual packs and it's the best value per pack I've found. But if you're not going to go through a big box quickly, don't waste your money on the large size. This listing is for the mixed fruit flavor which are common flavors: strawberry, white grape raspberry, orange, white grape peach, and Concord grape. The two made with white grape in them aren't especially tart and the peach doesn't jump out at you either.Welch's also makes a lot of other flavor combinations in smaller sized boxes. Although I really like some of the other varieties such as the strawberry-only ones and the apple orchard kind, I have found it's not worth it to buy them because they're almost always stale. I think it's because they aren't as popular so they sit on the shelf a lot longer and get stale. I store my gummies in a sealed plastic container to help keep them fresher longer. They fit nicely in the container.. we eat them all before filling back up with a new box so that there aren't pouches perpetually on the bottom getting stale. All in all, these are my family's favorite take-along snack. As a mom I am looking the other way about these "fruit" snacks not really being healthy.Great value for your moneyMy family love these fruit snacks Great price !!! Fast shippingThe amount of grape flavor and strawberry flavor is completely imbalance. The kids like these better than I do, but they still taste pretty darned good. The snack size of the pouches seems just right and my toddlers inhale them like they're going out of style. The price for the larger box makes the individual packets much more affordable and makes it easy for me to toss a few in their backpack when we are headed out. These have become a bit of a staple at our house. Though they are perhaps not the healthiest of snacks, I do appreciate the fact that they are made with real fruit, have some vitamin content, and have less sugar and preservatives than some of the other options. And given the choice, the kids will always pick these over the other brand we have tried in our home.Great deal, in terms of gummy snacks - a whole eighty packages for a mere $12 or so. You can't touch that with supermarket prices, you can't even get close. I bought this because everyone in the family devours the fruit snacks the moment I bring them home: not this time - this sucker has so many fruit snacks that they had to make it out of a heavier gauge cardboard. It's serious business.Flavor-wise, Welch's is up there with Motts and the like. Good taste - fruity, not too sweet, soft consistency, easy to devour in a single handful. I usually bring a couple to work for a snack, good stuff. I'd recommend it for just about everyone. They aren't premium top-shelf fruit snacks, but they are certainly good enough. Would recommend for high volume households.Value, flavorVery fast delivery to Switzerland. It's a little bit pricey, but these fruit gums are awesome. Highly recommended product!
