This set is a little on the smaller side, but it’s very versatile. You can use the bottom plate separately as a serving platter, and all the pieces are oven-safe as well as dishwasher-safe. I tried using the center “dip” dish to bake an 8-ounce wheel of Brie (I placed it on a baking sheet first) and it worked perfectly. I didn’t use any oil or spray to grease the dish, but the melted Brie still cleaned up easily. Nice serving dishes and easy to clean in the top rack dishwasher.I was disappointed with this because the round section in the middle is off-white or cream-colored, but all the rest are the white that I ordered. I don't know why the center one isn't white, but I wouldn't have ordered this if I'd known the center looks discolored. It's for an event coming up too soon to return it and order something else - I'm stuck with it. The rest is okay although I wish the pieces fit together a little closer. There's enough space between them that they kind of rattle around.Very nice piece. Love that the dip bowl is a nice size and not too deep. And the remaining portion of the bowl is perfect for different types of crackers, etc.Just received this today and it is beautiful. However, I took it out of the package and placed it on my counter. Slid it toward the end of the counter to pick it up (it’s slick and hard to pick up without using the end of counter) and it scratched my counter top
